The 68th CONCERT SEASON 2024/2025 opens on Tuesday 8 October next.
The inaugural concert was entrusted to the pianist ALEXANDER GADJIEV and is, from this point of view, emblematic of the choices of the Friends of Music. ALEXANDER GADJEV is a young artist that our Association has followed carefully since his first steps and who today, after his prestigious affirmations (BBC New Generation Artist, Sydney Competition 2021, Chopin Competition 2022), is present in the most important theaters in the world , such as Wigmore Hall in London and Alte Oper Frankfurt.
Equally significant is the personal program designed for the concert, which places the names of Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Scriabin alongside those of modern-day authors such as Ligeti and Corigliano.
ALEXANDER GADJEV’s concert is part of the “A piano per Padova” project, which brings together five concerts reserved for pianistic excellence. The project has been supported since 2004 by the Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo Foundation, and in the ’24/’25 edition it includes, in addition to ALEXANDER GADJIEV, the prestigious names of ELISSO VIRSALADZE, HERBERT SCHUCH, JEAN-EFFLAM BAVOUZET, ALEXANDRA CONUNOVA with CHRISTIAN ZACHARIAS.
Tickets are on sale online on 2tickets.it, from Gabbia Dischi, via Dante 8 (Padua) and at the box office of the Pollini Auditorium on the evening of the concert. €5 tickets (Conservatory and Unipd students) are on sale only at the concert box office.
