From 24 to 26 October, the fifth edition of the Festival of Health: ‘Let’s Take Life’, organised by the Gedi Group, lands for the first time in the prestigious setting of the city of Padua, with a packed programme of meetings, debates, interviews, readings and performances.
The Festival is articulated along the paths necessary for healthy living: prevention, early diagnosis and the most effective therapies for the most important diseases of our time.
We will therefore talk about medical-scientific research, vaccines, prevention, proper nutrition, physical activity, active ageing, and the fight against cancer. But also the right to health, and youth discomfort.
More than 120 speakers will take turns on stage: Nobel Prize winners, scientists, doctors, journalists, personalities from politics and institutions, sport, culture and entertainment.
New for the 2024 edition is the Prevention Village, along the listòn of Via VIII Febbraio, an opportunity for the city and all participants to take predictive screening tests and receive free counselling, such as dermatological counselling and on how to combat overweight and obesity.
The festival also includes several performances, in the Aula Magna of Palazzo del Bo, at Palazzo della Ragione and at the Verdi Theatre.
Festival events are held in various venues in the historic centre of Padua, but also online in streaming and then on demand on the Repubblica, Stampa and Huffpost websites.
Participation in attendance at the event, the various appointments and screenings is free of charge, subject to online registration at https://festivalsalute.makeitlive.it/
More information and the programme are available on the Il Bo Live website.
The Health Festival is organised by the Gedi Group in collaboration with the City of Padua’s Healthy Cities Office, the University of Padua, the Padua Chamber of Commerce, the Cariparo Foundation and Venicepromex.
