Christmas in Padua for all families is at the ‘Villaggio Eremitani’, from 29 November to 6 January, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., in Piazza Eremitani, a magical place where boys and girls can meet Father Christmas and shop at the Christmas market. In the Village you will find:
Father Christmas’ Little House. On some days, children can meet Father Christmas in person and deliver their letters to him. When Father Christmas is not present in the Village, children can post their letters in the mailbox in the Little House;
The ‘Christmas Market’ wooden chalets with food and wine specialities and high-quality gifts. Opening hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Closed on 25 December and 1 January;
Traditional horse and chain rides.
THE ARRIVAL OF SANTA CLAUS
A special appointment on Sunday 8 December when Father Christmas is scheduled to arrive. Father Christmas will walk through the entire historical centre before arriving at his House in Piazza Eremitani to welcome all the boys and girls and their letters.

The programme includes 2 Christmas-themed travelling animations that will start from Piazza Eremitani and continue through the streets of the historic centre.
