On 18 January, the chamber music season starts up again with a very rich and varied programme of concerts, all of which have in common the high quality of the performers and composers on offer.
The calendar includes 18 concerts, comprising 4 dates dedicated to contemporary classical music, 4 dates dedicated to the guitar (soloist and in ensemble) and 10 ‘classical’ concerts involving various instruments and ensembles.
Tradition and innovation are the aspects that coexist in the new programme and can be found as a red thread running through the musical ideas of all 3 genres mentioned above.
Another red thread that runs through the construction of the season concerns the themes that transversally guide the proposals of the concerts: the fascination of geographical travel, of the unknown and the urgency of dialogue with the past and its reinterpretation, expressed through the evocation of the tales, melodies and dances of popular traditions and the surprise of the elective affinities that unexpectedly emerge.
The concerts will be held on SATURDAY evenings at 8.30 p.m., on the scheduled dates; they are preceded by introductions to listening and, for those who wish, by the possibility of enjoying aperitifs and cicchetti.
