The lights in the city are turned on and the now characteristic videomapping projections begin, to recreate the evocative atmosphere of lights and decorations typical of Christmas.

There are over 60 light installations created by the Municipality which illuminate Palazzo Moroni, the Loggia Amulea, the Teatro Verdi, Palazzo della Ragione, the trees of Prato della Valle, some of the main roundabouts and the small squares of all the neighbourhoods. Added to these are the lights installed by the city’s shopkeepers.

The evocative videomapping projects its lights on Palazzo del Capitanio, the Loggia della Gran Guardia and the Palazzo del Monte di Pietà.
