November 4 marks the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice, which marked the end of World War I. The Armistice was signed in Padua at Villa Giusti at the Mandria.
The commemorative ceremonies are organized by the City of Padua and the Northern Operations Forces Command, in collaboration with the Prefecture of Padua, the Province of Padua and the University of Padua.

The Prefect of Padua, Giuseppe Forlenza, presents the Honors of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic and the Medals of Honor to military and civilians, deported and interned in the Nazi Lagers.
