Saturday 07 June at 16:30 at the Palazzo della Ragione there will be a new appointment with Fior D’ Arancio Colli Euganei DOCG and Padua Urbs Picta.

A Journey into the Beauty of Padua Urbs Picta, UNESCO World Heritage Site from 2021, with a look at the Feminine: a guided tour of the Palazzo della Ragione to discover the 14th-century pictorial cycle, followed by an unprecedented tasting with heady perfumes and enveloping flavours to discover Fior d’Arancio Colli Euganei DOCG .

Accompanied by an authorised guide, we will discover the 14th-century pictorial cycle enclosed in Palazzo della Ragione, with a special focus on the female figures, protagonists not only as patrons but also from a pictorial point of view. The majestic Palazzo della Ragione is an iconic element of the city of Padua; it preserves the largest cycle in terms of painted surface area and the most articulate.
The 14th-century frescoed cycles on the four large walls of the great hanging hall on the first floor represent the only secular and civil commission: the decoration was in fact commissioned by the free Commune of Padua.

Many women are painted in the Palace in the representation of trades, months, planets and in the representation of Justice , where earthly justice was administered.

This will be followed by a tasting of Fior d’Arancio Colli Euganei DOCG wines in three different expressions, each accompanied by a harmonious gastronomic pairing by the chef of the @Balobino Restaurant.
